Markets have been held in Basingstoke since the original market was established by Royal Charter in 1622, the perfect opportunity for you to grab some local produce on your lunchbreak.

The market is situated in Market Place at the Top of the Town and continues down Wote Street towards Festival Place.

The Basingstoke Market takes place every Wednesday (and on Saturdays) between 9am and 4pm, so why not pop there during your lunchbreak?

Stalls include fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, eggs, pies and chutney, bread, cakes, fresh fish, Thai, Korean and Japanese food. There are even plant stalls and clothing stalls featuring both ladieswear and menswear.

Parking is available in Castons Yard, Joices Yard, Feathers Yard (electric vehicle parking only) and Central Car Park.
