Winter Event Takes Place At Chineham Park
Chineham Park hosted a Christmas winter event this week with wreath making workshops and lunchtime food and shopping stalls on site on the amenity field next to Central 40.
The event took place over lunchtime with Smokin’ Street Food on hand dishing up beef chilli and butternut squash curry for workers across the Park. They also had packaged Christmas gifts of smoked meats, cheeses and nuts to purchase.
Ridiculously Rich, who make luxury brownies and cakes were also present. The owner of Ridiculously Rich participated on, and won The Apprentice, and Chineham Park was delighted to have them on the Park selling their beautifully packaged sweet treats.
In addition, two hugely successful Christmas wreath making workshops took place for workers over lunchtime. These popular workshops were fully booked as soon as tickets became available and attendees enjoyed a festive 45-minute session of creative Christmas crafting.
Both workshops were run in conjunction with Chineham Park’s award-winning landscape and garden maintenance team, Nurture Landscapes, who guided attendees with expert tuition on how to make the perfect hand-made stylish wreaths.
Wendy Scott, Customer Manager at Chineham Park said: “Chineham Park was delighted to welcome Ridiculously Rich and Smokin’ Street Food on site over lunchtime and it was wonderful to see their popularity with our customers”.
Wendy Scott continued: “The wreath making sessions were very popular again this year and we received some lovely comments from everyone that attended. I would like to thank Nurture Landscapes for providing the workshop sessions and making it such a fun event.
Following a successful year of events here on the Park, from Street Food Fridays to our ‘seed to plate’ event, Chineham Park will be looking to run even more events throughout 2019. Further details will be published on Buzz in due course”.
